It's not just milk
'Breakfast, in bed'
He said
How sweet, he looked -
Though he nearly slopped
My eye did spot
Just, one, drop - on the sheet
That's all it took
And his face - to ruin the surprise
Fir it was not ...
I smelt it when he left the room
That spot
I did my best to enjoy my food,
Despite the fact, that I could
Feel its eye, following,
Mocking, questioning, dot, who am I?
What do you see?
My man brings tea
I didn't get mad, at him, at them
For I had no proof ...
But my bowl of bran, so bland,
In my hand
Who told me it was far from overflowing,
AND
Then I knew - with certainty
The milks white innocence,
Was suspicious
And his face, the food, that spot, that thing
Undoubtedly, did, belong to him
When he came to bed
I drew in air
Pointed my finger ...
Did you?
Yeah ...
When?
Before you woke
About me?
Yes
So,
It's not just milk, is it?
No
